August is Vaginal Steam Awareness Month

If you haven’t heard the news already, I’m popping in today to let you know that we’ve declared August Vaginal Steam Awareness Month.  I’m so proud to belong to such an incredible and powerful group of women that are on a mission to raise the level of care of female health and make sure that women know how to care for themselves. We’re attempting to create a wave on the internet and I’m here to let you know how to be in on the action.

During August there will be lots of information shared on the research, history, tips on how to steam and free giveaways.  To sign up to these daily educational posts and activities to spread awareness about the benefits of steaming please click the button below to add your email address.

When I was first diagnosed with a left ovarian cyst in 2018 (bare in mind that both my mother and maternal grandmother had a history of cervical cancer – read more in my About page) I went searching for an alternative method of healing that didn’t involve a knife and that would help me get to the emotional triggers that had caused the cyst to form in the first place.  I knew that if I didn’t address the root cause, there was a chance that after surgical removal of the cyst, another one could so easily form in it’s place.  Through the magical powers of social media to connect us to a rich web of resources I discovered the steamy chick website.  The video which I have embedded in this post below blew my mind away and I knew that I had discovered the tool that could not only help me heal my cyst naturally, but could also bring so much healing to the debilitating symptoms that I had endured with my period for a lifetime.

I couldn’t believe that there was a practice that has been carried out everywhere in the whole entire world going back to the beginning of womankind that hasn’t had the intelligence of western science investigate it thoroughly to see what is going on here and bring this wisdom to modern day practice and self care.

Steaming is amazing because it gives women a tool to take care of ourselves in our own home.  If there is an odor that is off, if the PH balance is off, if there is a period that is not getting all the way clean, if there are cramps, clots, fibroids, endometriosis, postpartum contractions, hot flashes, infertility concerns, women have nothing except for going to a doctor. There’s not really any natural method at the doctors to help you be able to regulate your cycle.

Steaming gives women a very powerful tool.  We know that heat improves circulation.  We know that when circulation is low, it creates stagnation and a whole load of other complications. Stagnation is what results in cramps. Just being able to increase the circulation through the heat being introduced to target the vaginal canal, uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries has immense benefits.

Please watch the video below to discover a world of self care that can safely be practiced in the comfort of your own home.

Demistifying the v steam

Are you inspired to start steaming?  I’m here to guide you through the process.  Start by watching the video on How to Steam right here on my website and when you’re ready to get your herbs I have a supply in my online shop.  I offer virtual Vaginal Steam Health Consultation so where ever you are in the world we can connect and I can guide you through the process.  When I first started doing my own steaming here in Turks & Caicos I figured it all out on my own through reading blogs, watching tutorials and my husband very kindly building me a sauna.  It’s really not rocket science.  We have so much power in own hands.  It all starts with our willingness to open to a different way of doing things.
